Experience in business :
High Peaks Expeditions Ltd has extensive experience in organizing tailor-made safaris to East Africa based around each clients
individual needs, time scale and budget. It was formed to serve the needs of the world wide travel industry and those traveling
specifically to East Africa. We aim at providing an awareness of Africa as a viable travel destination.
Shareholders :
Both of the shareholders Mrs. Mimi Kitundu &
Mr. Hans Kitundu were born and raised in Tanzania so they have first hand information about the country. Hans lives in Tanzania,
so he runs that side of the market plus the European nations.
High Peaks Expeditions Ltd is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents and the Association of Tanzania Tour operators
(TATO) and we work hand in hand with the Tanzania National parks, Ngorongoro conservation Area Authority, and the Tanzania
Tourist Board in order to regularly update and improve our safari products.
Operation :
We meet all our clients on their arrival at the airport and brief them on their chosen safari and link up again on their return
for their comments. We offer tailor made safaris based around each client's individual needs, interests, time scale and budget
and we take time to ensure that clients are getting the very best out of their trip.
Accommodation :
We use elegant and unique lodges, hotels and camps. The lodges, camps and hotels we use, pride themselves on the excellence of
their personalized service and friendliness of their staff. Every effort has also been made to provide the best cellar possible
within the restrictions of logistics and climate. We ask all our clients to advise if they have any dietary requirements in advance.
Vehicles :
We use four wheel drive 4 wheel drive minibuses and Toyota Land cruisers which are comfortable, well maintained and fixed with
2 ways HF Radios.
Safari guides :
The most important person to determine the success of a safari is the guide. We therefore employ qualified, experienced and very
knowledgeable guides who are able to handle all the requirements for a discerning traveler. They are familiar with the wildlife,
birds, fauna and flora, and help you to obtain first hand appreciation of East Africa.
Business Methods :
As we employ competent and qualified staff, we are able to reply to all our client's inquiries and Reservations within 24 hours
this coupled with the fact that we offer personalized safaris which ensures unforgettable experiences.
Future plans :
It is our intention to establish High Peaks Expeditions branches in America, Germany and London, etc therefore making certain
that all aspects including ballooning and walking safaris are fulfilled.
